Society Awards OK

Expansion of production and warehouse facilities for Society Awards, a custom awards maker, in Grove, Oklahoma. The entry pavilion is a beacon inside of a growing industrial park, designed for daily staff use and large events. Clad in translucent solar panels and a mix of perforated corten and colored stainless, the structure embodies the owner's desire to give something back to the community he grew up in. The solar array powers the facility and also provides shade to the sculpted terraces, pool and plantings below, while the entry walkway screens the parking area and plays off the walk of fame taken by many awards recipients.
